Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, Scholastic Press
As for the one of a kind paintings themselves, Mandy Howard begins with clamping the book between two pieces of wood, followed by mapping out fan favorite scenes from the film adaptation. The longest edge features the moment Katniss walks out to the Capitol with her bow and arrows, the top edge shows the epilogue scene of Katniss and Peeta with their children in the meadow, and the bottom edge shows Katniss when she chooses to fire her arrow at someone unexpected.
While the pages can still be turned, this is recommended to be purchased as a decorative addition to your personal library, rather than to be read. This is due to the fact that the oils on our hands can damage the painting over time.
